About this world

Hailfall Acres

Hailfall Acres is the field Abner leaves unlatched for the whole hollow, and it gets the roughest weather on the farm. A winning line is flattened like wheat under hail, the pictures overhead slump into the holes and new ones rattle in from the top, letting a single spin keep tumbling as its multiplier rises to x5. The windswept hare and crackling thunderhead hold much of the pay, so calm spells run long between loud ones. The Bolt Seal wild fills in for every picture but the Bottled Rainbow. Three rainbows open ten free spins that double each win before any tumble counts; four rainbows open fifteen, five open twenty-five.

Hail Tumble. Winning symbols are knocked off the reels, whatever sat above them slides down and new ones fill the top; the landing spin counts once, tumble one counts double, tumble two triple, and each tumble after that five times over. Bottled Rainbows never move.

The honest part

Coins only, in every weather

Every spin in the hollow uses free virtual coins. No real-money gambling happens here, no win holds real-world value, and the app sells nothing. A random number generator settles each result; a spin never bends the one that follows.

Measured by running this page's own engine for 10,000,000 spins: coin RTP 95.9%, hit frequency 35.3%, free spins about once in 136 spins, a win of 10x your stake or more about once in 81 spins. Coin figures only — no money is staked or returned.

How to play

Hailfall Acres in three steps

1

The page loads with Abner's jam jar topped up with play coins; no one asks your name and nothing gets installed.

2

Pick a stake and spin. Hail knocks the winners off the reels, the rest slide down and new pictures drop in, paying x1 on the spin, x2 and x3 on the next two tumbles, then x5 for each tumble after.

3

Land three Bottled Rainbows anywhere for ten free spins, where wins count twice and the multiplier of each tumble goes on top of that; four rainbows mean fifteen spins, five mean twenty-five.

Who it suits

Newcomers to the hollow who like their weather loud, and anybody content to wait through a quiet sky for a long run of tumbling pictures.

What to expect

The widest swings on the farm. The hare and the thunderhead hold much of the value, so the exciting spins arrive in bunches with stretches of calm in between.

Questions

About Hailfall Acres

No. The wheat field plays for everybody straight off the page; the free account is only for Gourdlight Slope and Moonpane Loft.

No. Rainbows hold their spot while the winning pictures around them are knocked down and replaced.

Abner carries them uphill and pencils them in next to the 100,000 coins at the top of your fresh almanac page.

Forecast for the hollow: a free social casino, with no real-money gambling anywhere in sight.

Almanac Hollow keeps its porch for grown-ups aged 19 or over. The reels run on virtual coins of no monetary value, coins nobody can buy, sell, withdraw or exchange. Look under every floorboard and there is still no coin shop and no page for payments; nobody is ever handed a prize of real-world value; and a lucky streak in the hollow does not imply future success at real-money gambling.
