Keep it a game, rain or shine

Why a free hollow is 19+

Social casino games copy the look, the sound and the tempo of real gambling. Almanac Hollow is meant only for adults over the legal gambling age and is not directed at anyone under 19. Age is checked twice: on the banner that meets you, and again with a tick you must give when your account is created.

Entries Abner will never write

• Offering or promoting real-money gambling in the hollow.
• Prizes with any value outside the hollow.
• Coin sales or in-app purchases of any sort.
• Links that send you to gambling operators or their affiliates.
• Countdowns or streaks rigged to call you back to the porch.

A plain warning, plainly logged

A free game can be set to feel generous, and it tops up your jar at no cost. Real-money games do neither. A sunny run in the hollow forecasts nothing about how you would do with money at stake.

Warning signs to read on your own barometer

• Playing well past the time you set.
• Turning thundery once the reels stop.
• Spinning to get out from under a grey mood.
• Losing sleep, work time or evenings with people to the reels.
• Searching the county for a real-money version of the reels.

Staying in charge of the weather

• Before the first hailstone falls, settle on how long you will play.
• Keep autoplay off; turn the reels yourself.
• Take breaks at regular intervals, as Abner does between readings.
• Clear this site’s data to reset everything, or block the site in your device settings if you want a permanent stop.
