Terms of use, as written in the almanac

1. Who keeps the almanac

These terms govern your use of almanachollow.com ("Almanac Hollow", "we", "us"), operated by the operator of almanachollow.com. Using the site means you accept them.

2. Who may step onto the porch

To use Almanac Hollow you must be aged 19 or over. Each time you use it, you confirm that you are 19 or over.

3. Virtual coins in the jar

• The games are played with virtual coins provided free of charge.
• A coin carries no monetary value; it is not money, not credit and not property, whatever the barometer says.
• Coins cannot be purchased, sold, withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for money, goods, services or prizes of any sort. No in-app purchases exist.
• No prize of real-world value is on offer in the hollow.
• At any time we may adjust or reset coins, levels and features, as the weather requires.

4. No real-money gambling in the hollow

Almanac Hollow will not offer or promote real-money gambling and carries no link to any gambling operator.

5. Your account and almanac page

• Gourdlight Slope and Moonpane Loft open with a free account. Keep to one account per person, and do not share it.
• Your password stays with you. If anyone else has used your account, tell us without delay.
• Delete your account whenever you like from the account page. The deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
• Abner may suspend an account that is used to disrupt the site, or one he believes is kept by someone under 19.
• Coins, levels and missions are logged to the account and are not your property; they may be reset.

6. Conduct in the hollow

Do not try to disrupt the site, aim automated tools at it, offer to trade coins, or let anyone under 19 use it.

7. Availability, outages and liability

The site is offered “as is”, and any part of it may be changed or withdrawn. A malfunction voids all plays and pays. These terms do not limit liability that the law forbids limiting, and your statutory rights are not affected.

8. The law of these terms

Ontario provincial law, and the federal laws of Canada that apply in the province, govern these terms.
